In 2023, 2024 and 2025, representatives of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, along with citizens of other tribal nations, were afforded the opportunity to visit with minohsayki 'painted hides' in Paris, France. In this first episode on the revitalization of hide painting our hosts chat with Dr. Elizabeth Ellis, (citizen of the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma) and Logan York (Tribal Historic Preservation Officer, Miami Tribe of Oklahoma ) about their experiences visiting the robes.
